WordPress Plugins

I’ve moved to doing all my new web development in WordPress. I won’t bother extolling it’s virtues, that is anywhere you want to look, but I will say that it has taught me a lot about programming and how it can be fun and elegant. And since developing websites is what I do a lot of, that’s a big plus to the quality of my workday.

I have a list of plugin ideas I intend to develop, and for some reason, I decided to start with the biggest and most challenging one, an online commerce plugin (of all things!) based on the excellent Mal’s E-Commerce service. I call it WP Mal’s Cart and it’s a work-in-progress currently at version 1. Check out its page for details.

In development now is another plugin I’m calling “Participants Database” that focuses on the needs of non-profit organizations that want to maintain a list of supporters and volunteers. I’m developing it for a local voter empowerment group, Power to the People Kauai. I plan to release it to the WordPress Repository in the next few weeks.

I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your plugin and the excellent, prompt support you provided.

Totally agree about the virtues of WordPress, its greatest asset though has to be people like you: International Treasures!

This lil’ ole gal says THANK YOU! :*

Best of the best!

Roland,

I have commented on your Participant DB WP Plug-in on that page. But I would like to communicate with you via e-mail because I have an urgent need for a minor enhancement that I may be willing to pay for and/or participate in the development of. Please respond to the e-mail associated with this comment. Thanx
