My approach to web design is first and always to honor the purpose of the site. (How I do that)
I consider the web to be primarily a communications and publishing medium. For me this means taking a straightforward approach with an emphasis on clarity and visual appeal. Navigation is simple and direct, assuming only a basic level of web literacy in the visitor. My sites are also conscientious and ethical; as a designer I feel I must be able to stand behind everything I produce.
